How to Make Text Look Like Gold in Photoshop CS5

Hello there lovlies!

It has been far too long since we did something Photoshoppy in this corner of the blogosphere. [Is Photoshoppy a word? It is now.]

Gold and glitter seem to be all the rage in the graphics world right now, so here is a quick tutorial I made that will help you quickly transform your text [or shapes, etc.] from blah, to metallic magnificence.

Enjoy!

  1. Such a great tutorial! You are such an amazing designer and your blog design is beautiful! Maybe you could do some tutorials about it? I have so much trouble with mine:) I have been looking for your email address but can't find it! I would love it if you would send me an email at littlelightofmineblog@yahoo.com

    1. Thank you, Shelby! I had a lot of fun designing my blog, but amid the excitement I wanted to pull my hair out so many times it's a wonder I have any left. haha :) I hadn't thought of doing tutorials on it, but I think that is a great idea! I am by no means an expert, but I'd be happy to help in any way that I can. Thank you for the suggestion!

I will send you an e-mail right now. :) Thanks for leaving me your address!

      Hugs!
